#AkhirnyaRekreasiBeneran
In the middle of working time, Hikmah (ReKreasi’s member) texted me “we’ll have an outing at May 4th-7th, will you available and join us?”. I asked him, “Where will we have an outing?”. He surely said “Bali”. Honestly, I didn’t believe him at the first time. Because, when it goes to outing, my reference directly goes to my previous office outing which was being held in Ancol. I was absolutely happy and answered the question with a YES!!!
We flew to Bali by Citilink from Halim about 9 a.m. Arrived in I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, I realized that the last time I went to Bali was in February 2012, with my campus mates #metal08. I didn’t put any expectation or plan in this trip. Since it was office outing, my main aims were making my relationship to my office mates closer and taking our travel pictures properly.
The first restaurant that we tried was D’Star Bar Bebek in Ubud. I rather enjoyed the view than the food. I remembered the juice was so fresh and the soup was so decent but the duck menu was not that good. The colours in some spots looked so bohemian I think. That’s why I was encouraged to do some small photoshoot here.
After finishing the lunch, we directly headed to Monkey Forest. I didn’t bring my camera because I worried it would be taken by the monkeys. Therefore, I took some pictures using my smartphone.
In the first two nights, we stayed in The Payogan Hotel, Ubud. We were being welcome by fresh afternoon tea from the hotel. The hotel is so damn big. You shouldn’t imagine the hotel with many floors instead of they have many units with the private swimming pool in each units. Maybe we should be better say it as a villa. I slept in the same room with Mas Ipang and Romo. Where in our under rooms, there were Anggi, Iman, Indra, Opik and Emog. So we enjoyed the swimming pool for that 8 people. I won’t describe how the swimming pool is. It would be better seeing the pictures directly. Pardon me, I forgot to take the picture of the room itself.
We had a dinner in Lotus Cafe. Enjoying the food and listening balinese live music was the good combination. We didn’t take too much time here. After finishing the meals, we backed to hotel again and spent couple of hours in Yaman’s room. There were a group who played Uno Stacko, a group who played guitar and others who did their activities. Mas Ipang came later than us. He arrived in hotel at that time. Some new members of ReKreasi introduced themselves to Mas Ipang.

In the second day, we did Rafting and watched the theater. Both of theme were my first experience. Digun (ReKreasi’s member) booked rafting ticket in Bali Sobek. As I know the price is around IDR 350k per person. It’s so worth it for exploring the river for 2 hours, by 20km length and the price is included lunch, towel, shower room and even pick up service from our hotel to rafting spot.
We continued the trip to Bali Safari and Marine Park. Ya, as you would expect we’ll have safari tour. I enjoyed taking some pictures of the animals, but my most pleasure in this place was watching the theater. I rarely watch the theater and I think that show was the best theater I’ve ever seen. I just amazed with the production design, the props, the costumes, the dances, the lighting effect and they also interacted with animals as one of surprising elements. We can’t bring mobile phone and camera while the show was running. So, I can’t show you how amazing it was.
Hujan locale was the restaurant we chose for dinner. It kinda candle-light-fine-dining-restaurant. The main course is so so, but the desert is so freakin’ good. The ice cream, the croquette with the melted chocolate inside, and other desert menus successfully impressed me and some of my friends.

In the third day, after finishing the breakfast, I helped Venny to do small photoshoot of her earrings and other women’s accessories business. Then we gathered in Yaman’s room again to expressed “how did you feel about this company?”. Some of us spoke about how did this company started, how did they feel in the first months working in this office, the office next targets and many more. I just said that I feel blessed being part of this company and hopefully can contribute as much as others do. Ya, because I’m officially the personal assistant of Mas Ipang and didn’t directly join for any kind of ReKreasi’s project, so I didn’t have many things to say.
Afterwards, we went to Bebek Tepi Sawah for lunch and for this time I enjoyed the roasted duck. I don’t know either I was too hungry or the food was so good, I enjoyed the meals and the fresh juice there. Around 5 p.m we enjoyed the Kecak Dance in Uluwatu. That was also my first time enjoying Kecak Dance live in Uluwatu. The crowd is full and the wind is so uncontrolled.
After seeing the dance, we moved to hotel. For the last night, we stayed in Furama Hotel in Seminyak. I could say this hotel is quite modern with minimalist yet wide space in each unit. So, the unit has three bedrooms with the one living room and kitchen. It looks like an apartment.

In the last day, I didn’t spend some time for swimming in this hotel, because we prefer did massage in our last days in Bali. Again, this massage was also my first experience haha. Though, the massage wasn’t “massage + +”, at least I know how the customer was treated in massage and spa center. I took Balinese massage for 90 minutes. The 90 minutes feels too short to be relaxed.
Before going to Airport, we stoped in Bali Agung for buying some gifts. That place was my first time spending money, while from the first day everything was paid by the office budget haha. We bought some gifts for our relatives, enjoyed the last lunch and backed to Jakarta by Batik Air.
The four days in Bali was too short (holiday is never enough). As Romo said, we wish in the next year we must use our passport to the next outing. Amiiiiiiin. Thank you ReKreasi for giving me some of the first experiences 🙂 #AkhirnyaReKreasiBeneran
