Hidden Paradise in Italy
Who are the ones knowing about Cinque Terre? If you don’t know, you should look for it. I just knew it from my friend (Peka) and Dira. Cinque Terre means Five Villages in Italian. It consists of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterroso. We just visited Riomaggiore and Manarola.
If you want to go there, you should stop from Riomaggiore or the other train station whose name as the city. We stopped in Le Spezia train station at the first, since we don’t know how to go to the famous spots, we just googled it and I knew that we must go to Riomaggiore, just one stop from Le Spezia.
That was my first time seeing the ocean in italy. It was so amazing. I felt that I want stay longer in cinque terre, using short pants, swimming at the sea. From previous city which is full of city view, Cinque Terre gave me the other experiences.
Riomaggiore, Manarola, two of them were beautiful. I searched the info from internet that the living cost in Cinque Terre is more expensive, because it is touristic place. Nevertheless, when I bought food and beverages there, I realized that Cinque Terre is cheap.
Cinque Terre, I want to stay there like for 5 days 4 nights to explore all of villages.
Oh ya, I need to let you know about this. I gotthe most memoreble experience in Cinque Terre. We got punished by train security. As you read before that we stopped in Le Spezia Station. Based on google information, we need to take the train and spend like €5 for that train route. Since it just two station and short trip, we tried just take the train without buying the ticket. We succeded when we arrive in Riomaggiore. There is no ticket officer who asked for the ticket. But, when we went to Manarola, it just one station so we thought, “that’s fine, just one stop”. When we took that train, the ticket officer asked us for ticket. We just tried to be innocent by giving our ticket to Le Spezia. The officer said “No, you can’t. You should buy for ticket until Manarolla”. Long story short, we arrived at Manarolla then we need to give the officer €9 per person. Just for one stop. It feels like “I don’t want to spend that money for just one stop hahaha”. Because when we were back to Florence from Cinque Terre, we bought ticket, and there is no ticket officer who asked for the ticket. Sh*t!! 😀
